Today was my kids’ soccer jamboree and I indulged a little with some cheese pizza and a small piece of brownie. Also had a few french fries at dinner later. Other than those little things, I actually did pretty well, considering there was a whole spread of unhealthy foods. Mostly fruits and veggies today, snacks instead of big meals again.
Exercise-wise, it was a rest day – I just did some pushups and pullups, but not too many.
Today’s report:
WO: Some pushups and pullups. Rest day.
B: Coffee. Oatmeal, soy yogurt, almonds, strawberries. 350.
L: Cheese pizza. Pasta salad. Veggies. 610.
S: Kashi Golean Crunch cereal and soymilk. Soy yogurt and strawberries. Apple. Carrots. 550.
D: Wendy’s side salad w/ a little oriental dressing. Some french fries. 300.
Totals:
Ate: 1810
Burned: 1920 or so.
Deficit: about 100
For pushups I would recommend pushups grips/bars. I use the very simple model, but there are different ones on the market. For about 20-25 dollars you can buy rotating pushups grips.
it’s all about looking back and thinking WHAT WOULD I HAVE CONSUMED HAD I NOT BEEN ON THIS PATH TO HEALTH inmy opinion anyway.
some pizza and a few fries are a victory then Id imagine!
